Did You Know John Wick 4, Starring Keanu Reeeves, Was Filmed in Jordan?

Here’s a fun fact that’ll make every Jordanian proud — John Wick: Chapter 4 was filmed right here in Jordan’s Wadi Rum! Keanu Reeves himself rode across our iconic red desert on horseback for one of the movie’s coolest scenes.

Instead of using fancy Hollywood sets, the crew wanted real adventure, and they found it in Jordan. In the movie’s opening, John Wick gallops through the golden dunes, chasing down The Elder, one of the High Table’s top members. The scene is short but unforgettable, especially with Wadi Rum’s stunning backdrop stealing the spotlight.

It’s not the first time our desert has gone Hollywood. Dune, The Martian, and now John Wick 4 all filmed in Jordan. With those unreal rock formations, glowing sunsets, and endless sand, it’s easy to see.

And the best part? Keanu Reeves loved it here. After filming in Jordan, he said, “It’s not only the place that’s special, it’s the people.” That’s right, our hospitality and spirit made just as big an impression as the landscape.

So, next time you watch John Wick 4 and see that epic desert chase, remember that’s not some CGI magic. That’s Jordan, in all its cinematic glory.
