Did You Know This La Casa De Papel Actress Is Originally Jordanian?

After an extremely long wait, La Casa de Papel season 4 premiered on Netflix on April 3rd, bringing back our favorite characters to the big screen.

One character who stood out to us in particular was Inspector Alicia Sierra (no spoilers, we promise), whom we later learned was actually half Jordanian!

That’s right, Najwa Nimri was born in 1972 to a Jordanian father (Karam Nimri) and a Spanish mother. She currently lives in Madrid.

Her career first kicked off in 1996, but her role in La Casa de Papel was one of the most important and controversial roles thus far.
