The syndicate also called for the show to be removed from MBC Egypt, considering that it is dedicated to the Egyptian public and bears the country’s name.
In response, MBC Group spokesperson Mazen Hayek affirmed that MBC Egypt, also known as MBC Masr, operates out of the UAE, thus its content is not subject to the authority of the regulatory body, which allows for Ramez Majnun Rasmi to continue screening.
