Here are only a few of the things every Jordanian kid will remember:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. The Grendizer theme song:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thisisamman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image1540192450590.png\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u201c3ally 3ally batal fled, hayya tir ya Grendizer!\u201d You sang that in your head, didn\u2019t you? And we\u2019re sure these names will ring a bell: Rami, Majed, Rabeh, Adnan, and Lina. All the cartoons we used to obsess over are still somewhere in our heads.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Jabal Al-Hussein<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thisisamman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image1540192374802.png\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Shawarma and fruit cocktails from Rannoush, brand new shoes for the first day of school from Bisher, and stopping by the Luna Park to ride \u201cthe worm\u201d before heading home.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. \u201cI declare war on\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>A war game we all played in our neighborhoods! You draw a circle on the ground with chalk and split it into three parts, pick a country and wage war! Ironically whoever picked the US was always the winner. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Robert\u2019s Chocolates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thisisamman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image1540446440216.png\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Yellow and purple for just 20 qroosh, Robert\u2019s chocolate with hazelnut was literally everywhere.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>5. King Abdullah Gardens and Sports City<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thisisamman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image1540191803266.png\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The two spots that define your summer! The first to get dizzy playing the scissor game and the second so we swim and monkey around.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>6. The usual school trips to Jubaiha and Sifeen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thisisamman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image1531742091481.png\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The very first place we got to watch the Titanic! As well as every single Mohamad Huneidi movie.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Ras el-Abd<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thisisamman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image1540192254645.png\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This controversially named snack is still one of the most memorable flavors of our childhood. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Sweifieh and Al Thaqafeh Street<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thisisamman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/image1540192508316.png\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>One word: coolness. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>11. Bicycles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Whoever had one felt like they were on top of the world! <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>12.
