All You Need To Know About Amman International Film Festival

Looking for something to do this week? The 7th edition of the Amman International Film Festival is taking place now until 3 August 2026, bringing some of the best Arab and international films to Amman!

The festival celebrates first-time filmmaking achievements from around the world, with a special focus on Arab cinema. Alongside movie screenings, it also hosts Amman Film Industry Days (AFID), featuring talks, pitching sessions, and networking opportunities for filmmakers.

Movies and events are happening at Taj Cinemas, Rainbow Theater, and the Royal Film Commission.

Today’s Highlight

Don’t miss “In Conversation with Hend Sabry: Beyond the Role, Journey Across Arab Cinema.” The session will be held at Rainbow Theater, where Hend Sabry will join the audience live via video link to talk about her career and answer questions.

Besides movie screenings, the festival also offers talks, masterclasses, and discussions for anyone interested in filmmaking.
