Coronavirus Takes Us Back To The Good Old Days

Being under lockdown has taken us all back to the good old days, and by good old days we mean the 80s and 90s when life was simple and beautiful. What are some traditions that we’re reviving during quarantine? Find them below!

1. Childhood games

Snakes and ladders, UNO, Dominos, and more, these childhood games were our only source of entertainment back then.

2. Homemade cake

Quarantine has many people in the kitchen baking up a storm, and this brings back memories of family gatherings were dessert was a simply homemade cake, served with tea or juice. Nothing too fancy.

3. Old series and movies

Because old is gold, many TV channels are bringing back series and movies from the golden days. You can watch them on LANA TV, On TV, DMC, CIMA, and Al Nahar TV.

4. “Argeele” on the rooftop/balcony

Under lockdown, cafes and restaurnats are completely off-limit. So what do you do? Prepare your “argeele” and head up to the rooftop or out to the balcony where you can enjoy some family time.

5. Treats from the “dekkaneh”

Since we’re all snacking like there’s no tomorrow, we’re bringing back some of our favorite childhood treats that we ALMOST forgot about.
