Nearly one month into lockdown and we’re all making plans of where to go and what to see when this blows over. Ask any Jordanian what their post-quarantine plans are and they’re bound to mention at least one of the below.

Downtown Amman

One of the most lively and dense areas in Amman, those of us who love a heavy breakfast are certainly heading to Al Balad, where Al Hachem’s delicious foul awaits. The best way to escape a quarantine is by spending time in Jordan’s most crowded streets!

Boulevard

A touristic destination in Amman, but that still won’t stop locals from rushing to Boulevard where they’ll be met with beauty, sophistication, and so many amazing activities to keep them busy.

Swefieh Village

A relatively new mall in Amman, those of you who have had the chance to visit before are certainly heading back. And those of you who haven’t, this will be your perfect opportunity to explore a new destination.

Al-Weibdeh

We miss the awesome vibes in Jabal Al-Weibdeh and the delicious restaurants and cozy cafes that have made a home out of this area. We can’t wait to go back!

Shopping Malls

Shopping lovers will relate, and a huge shopping spree awaits after this quarantine ends!

Art Centers

Art enthusiasts will definitely be going back to the places that inspire them most: Amman’s beautiful art centers. Here they’ll engage in workshops and other art events to make up for lost time.

Because we could all use a haircut, trim, and some self-care when this ends.

Smoking shisha with your family on the balcony was fun, but going out for shisha with your friends hits different.

Coffee addicts will be swarming into Starbucks, because they’ve had enough of the average-tasting coffee they’ve been brewing at home.
