7 Types Of Jordanian Neighbors You’ll Have

Whether you live in an apartment complex or a house, you’re bound to have met at least one of these neighbors!

1. The elderly couple

This couple either has every grandchild over and fills your hallways with screams or they get annoyed at the screams of others. Normally they’re early to rise (and move furniture around), and will pray for you each time you help them with groceries.

2. The ones who don’t live there

The families who live in the Gulf and come back to summer in Jordan, you visit once to say hello and once to say goodbye! Chaos often follows them around.

3. The stingy ones

These are the people who have tons of cash for their fancy cars and furniture, but hold back when it comes time to tip the doorman who just carried all their bags to the door.

4. The retirees

These people start their day with coffee on the balcony, watching everyone and everything in sight.

5. The newlyweds

They’re never home because they’re living their fresh years of social life as a couple. You bump into them early in the morning or late at night.

6. The ones who are kinda there but not really

These are the neighbors you rarely if ever run into. They’re not sociable and will probably take the stairs to avoid riding in an elevator with you.

7. The students

Either children of immigrants who have come back to Amman for studies, or international students. They’ll keep you awake with the sounds of their parties or the sound of them returning home from a party.
