The Amman International Book Fair Is Happening Tomorrow!

Autumn is here! And so is our appetite for new books and fresh material! The 2021 Amman International Book Fair is scheduled to kick off on September 23, and here is why it is a must-visit.

Amman International Book Fair is an annual exhibition supervised by the Union of Jordanian Publishers in cooperation with the Culture Ministry and the Greater Amman Municipality; the exhibition will run from September 23 to Saturday, October 2 within the halls of Amman International Motor Show on the airport road.

The event will offer a professional and cultural program of activities and discussions, including book signings, panel discussions, poetry, and short story events as well as youth activities.

The exhibition represents a prominent cultural event that expresses the entirety of Arab culture and the role of Jordan in the cultural movement in the region; the participating countries include Jordan, Canada, the UK, China, India, the UAE, Turkey, Tunisia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, China, Italy, Palestine, Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon, Kuwait, and Syria.

Sessions won’t be limited to particular books or themes but will address topics ranging from environmental issues to political matters, social inequalities, and Jordan’s traditional rituals and practices. It will run until the 10th of October.
